Who you are contracting with
Favourl is operated by Emitlogic Technologies PVT LTD. Where these terms say “we” or “us”, that is the company you are contracting with. Write to [email protected] for anything in this document.
What you may not publish
Do not publish anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to share. That includes content that infringes copyright, trademarks or privacy, and links placed to deceive — malware, phishing, or pages dressed up as something they are not.
Do not publish personal information about other people without their agreement, and do not use published collections to harass anyone, to advertise deceptively, or to run affiliate schemes without disclosing them.
We may remove any published collection, or close an account, where these rules are broken. We do not have to do so, and not removing something is not approval of it.
The permission publishing gives us
You keep ownership of everything. Publishing grants us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, index and distribute that collection — including in search results, previews, and the app’s directory — for as long as it is published, and to let other people import a copy into their own library.
The licence exists so we can show what you asked us to show. It ends when you unpublish, except for copies other people already imported and caches we do not control.
Published collections are not our advice
A published collection is one person’s account of what worked for them. It is not advice from Emitlogic Technologies PVT LTD, and we do not check, endorse or verify collections, notes, or the pages they link to.
Links point at websites we do not own or control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or what they do with your data. Linking is not endorsement and creates no relationship with the site owner.
Where money, health, law or safety are involved, take proper professional advice before acting on anything you read here.
Reporting something
If a published collection infringes your rights, is unlawful, or should not be there, write to [email protected] with the collection URL and what is wrong with it. Every collection page also carries a report link that fills this in for you.
Tell us who you are and what right you are asserting, so we can act on it. We remove content that is clearly unlawful or infringing, and we tell the contributor when we do.
No warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content in it is accurate.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, business, goodwill or data, or for anything arising out of content published by other people or the websites they link to.
Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If your use causes a claim
If someone brings a claim against us because of what you published or how you used the service, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses in dealing with it, provided we tell you promptly and let you take part in the defence.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction — except where the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim locally, which it may if you are a consumer.
Using Favourl
You may use Favourl to save, organise and retrieve links for personal or business use. You need to be old enough to agree to these terms in your country.
You are responsible for what you save and for having the right to save it.
Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of everything you save. We do not claim rights over your bookmarks, folders or notes.
We store and process your content only to run the service — showing it back to you, syncing it between your devices, and serving a folder publicly if you choose to publish it.
Publishing a folder
Publishing makes that folder and the links in it readable by anyone, including search engines. Only publish content you have the right to share.
You can unpublish at any time. Copies already made by other people, or cached by search engines, are outside our control.
We may remove published content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or is used to distribute malware or spam.
Availability
Favourl is provided as-is. We aim to keep it running but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Because bookmarks are stored on your device first, an outage on our side does not stop you saving or searching your own library. This is a design decision, not a promise about uptime.
Keep your own export if your library matters to you. Exporting is free, unlimited, and in a standard format.
Accounts and ending things
You can delete your account from within the app at any time, which removes the server copy of your data.
We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service or to distribute unlawful material.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, we will tell you in the app before the change applies rather than relying on you re-reading this page.
